Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique has intensified his search for a ‘mole’ in his dressing room after his team set piece plans were published in the Spanish press.

The Spanish champions have gone through a tough spell of late, losing two of their last games, including the 4-3 defeat to Enrique’s old club Celta Vigo before the international break.

Enrique is allegedly livid that a series of stories that have come from private meetings and conversations within the club’s training ground and changing room have been made public in the press.

Prior to last month’s 2-1 victory in the Champions League against Borussia Monchengladbach, Mundo Deportivo published original documents detailing Barcelona’s set-piece plans and an analysis of the German team.

Barca struggled in that game as fell behind to a Thorgan Hazard goal and trailed for 30 minutes before overturning the scoreline late on thanks to goals from Arda Turan and Gerard Pique.

The former Real Madrid and Barcelona player has a strained relationship with the Catalonian media having already clashed with reporters in the media room at the Nou Camp.

According to Spanish newspaper SPORT the leaks are from within his trusted ‘inner-circle’ and that is why he feels so betrayed by the publication of the documents.

There is however so good news for the Spaniard, as Lionel Messi returned to first-team training this week after sustaining a groin injury last month.

The five-time Balon d’Or winner is expected to feature against Deportivo La Coruna in La Liga on the weekend in order to get some minutes under his belt ahead of the Champions League clash with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City next week.
