Chelsea winger Willian says Jose Mourinho’s stadium ban for the trip to face Stoke City this afternoon 'won't make a big difference'.

The Portuguese was punished by the Football Association for an abusive rant towards referee Jon Moss during the 2-1 defeat to West Ham United a fortnight ago.

But Willian, who scored the winner in the Champions League against Dynamo Kiev in midweek, says his team-mates are focused ahead of the visit to the Britannia Stadium.

He tells us what he expects from us. On game day, we are the ones that are playing and we already know what we have to do on the pitch.

"That won't be a problem," the Brazillian international told the Daily Express. "It won't make a big difference because we are with him on a daily basis.

Chelsea continue to languish in 15th place in the Premier League table after falling to a 3-1 defeat to Jurgen Klopp’s rejuvenated Liverpool side last Saturday.

The mood among the camp has improved, however, after the midweek success against Ukrainian opposition – a win earned after a stunning late free-kick by William, their stand-out performer of a poor season so far.

"It probably was my most important goal for Chelsea," he added. "It is also one of the best goals I have scored in my career.

"We had conceded a goal and started to think with all that has been going on, 'Are we going to draw again or are we going to lose this game?' But we managed to get a win."
