Manchester City have the chance to wrap up the Premier League title earlier than any top-flight champion before them, with the added bonus of doing so against their fierce rivals Manchester United.
Pep Guardiola’s side will guarantee their second trophy of the season if they beat United, having already secured the EFL Cup in February, but will hope that they do not suffer a repeat performance of the 3-0 hammering they suffered at the hands of Liverpool in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Sergio Aguero returns to the bench, with Guardiola rotating his side slightly with one eye on the Champions League quarter-final second leg next Tuesday, while United manager Jose Mourinho is able to select from a squad that is nearly at full fitness with only Sergio Romero and Daley Blind unlikely to feature.

What time does it start?
Manchester City vs Manchester United kicks off at 17:30 on Saturday 7 April.
Where can I watch it?
The match will be shown live on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event from 17:00.
6' - Early chance for City!
David Silva gets in down the right and delivers a teasing low cross to Raheem Sterling at the far post. The covering Ashley Young slips at the vital moment and the ball deflects off his hand and away from Sterling.
City want a penalty but that would have been harsh.
11' - City are starting to take control of this game now. Ashley Young has struggled to deal with Raheem Sterling in the early stages and Jose Mourinho has just had a quick word in his full-back's ear.
15' - United's intensity has been good in the opening third of this first half. Jose Mourinho clearly liked what he saw from Liverpool on Wednesday night and looks to have instructed his players to press City with similar levels of intensity.
20' - United give the ball away cheaply inside their own half and that allows City to counter on them quickly. The break ends with David Silva getting a 20-yard shot away but the Spaniard's effort is poor and the ball sails high and wide of David de Gea's goal.
22' - Chance for City!
Bernardo Silva has a great opportunity to give City the lead but he is thwarted from close range by David de Gea's outstretched leg.
GOAL! Manchester City 1-0 Manchester United (Kompany, 25)
City take a huge step towards the Premier League title and it's their leader, Vincent Kompany, with the goal as he holds off Chris Smalling to head home from Leroy Sane's corner.
The goal is virtually a carbon copy of the one he scored in the same fixture in 2012.
GOAL! Manchester City 2-0 Manchester United (Gundogan, 31)
That's a superb goal.
David de Gea gives the ball away cheaply but the rest is all about Ilkay Gundogan's brilliance, as he exchanges a lovely one-two with Raheem Sterling before rolling Chris Smalling and slotting the ball past De Gea and into the bottom corner.
Sublime stuff.
33' - Raheem Sterling lets United off the hook as he blazes a one-on-one chance over the crossbar after David Silva's through ball.
The visitors are all over the place here.
36' - Raheem Sterling shows mercy to United once more as he blazes another close-range finish over the bar from another David Silva through ball.
City could've had four goals in the last 10 minutes. As it is, they've got two.
