Phil Jones could be heading out the door at Manchester United, with Stoke City reportedly monitoring the defender’s situation.

The 24-year-old has been linked with a loan move to the bet365 Stadium and, according to the Manchester Evening News, Mark Hughes has refused to rule a deal out.

Chelsea’s Juan Cuadrado looks destined to return to Juventus, according to the club’s technical director Giuseppe Marotta.

Cuadrado spent the 2015/16 season on loan at the Serie A champions and Marotta is hopeful of finalising a permanent deal.

"I hope that over the next few days we can conclude the Cuadrado deal," he told Mediaset, in quotes picked up by ESPN.

"For now he is a Chelsea player. We presented a proposal to them and are waiting for a response, but we are optimistic."

Yacine Brahimi, the Porto winger, has reportedly emerged as a target for several Premier League clubs.

Arsenal are weighing up a move for the Algeria international, according to the Daily Mirror, but will apparently have to compete with interest from Chelsea, Liverpool and Everton.

Gabriel Barbosa, meanwhile, is open to the idea of a move to Barcelona, despite reported interest from Manchester United.

The Brazilian, fresh from winning a gold medal with his country at the Rio Olympics, wishes to join up with his international teammate Neymar at club level.

“Now I will celebrate with my family, then I will return to Santos and think about what I should do,” he said after Saturday’s penalty shoot-out win over Germany.

“He [Neymar] is a great player and playing alongside him would truly be beautiful.”
