Alexis Sanchez to Arsenal: Barcelona forward will start 'new phase' of his career with Gunners...his barber confirms

Chilean visited for a final haircut before making his move to north London

Alexis Sanchez has "said goodbye" to Barcelona to join Arsenal, his barber Carlos Moles has apparently confirmed.

Sanchez, who is reportedly just putting the finishing touches on his £30m move to the Gunners, visited the barbershop, which is situated in Plaza Catalunya, to tell them he was off to north London.

Moles posted this message on the barbershop's official Carlosmoles salon Facebook page earlier on today:

"Alexis Sanchez said goodbye. Just as the newspaper ‘Sport’ confirmed, Alexis Sanchez is leaving FC Barcelona to start a new phase of his career at Arsenal.

"During the three seasons that he was at Barca, the whole team at Carlosmoles salon, enjoyed having him."

As part of the negotiations for the transfer, Sanchez’s agent Fernando Felicevich has reportedly flown to London to represent the Barcelona star, who returned to Catalonia this week after his time with the Chile national team at the World Cup in Brazil. Other media outlets claim that Sanchez, who offers direct pace and an ability to run past defenders, will sign a five-year deal at the Emirates.
