Manchester United sent scouts to watch Paulo Dybala in action for Palermo at the weekend. The £30-rated striker has been interesting numerous clubs after enjoying a fruitful season that has seen him net 11 goals in 17 appearances - a record that is seeing the 21-year-old Argentinean billed as the new Sergio Aguero. Whilst there, according to the Daily Mail, Mauro Icardi of Inter Milan was also watched. Icardi is the same age and nationality as Dybala and with a record of 15 goals in 28 appearances this term is bringing interest from Chelsea as well.

Manchester United have also been linked yet again with PSG defender Marquinhos. Some reports suggested Louis van Gaal made a couple of bids for the Brazil international during the January window only to see them turned down. The Daily Express report that United have made an official enquiry for the 20-year-old through his representatives.

Bastian Schweinsteiger has indicated in his upcoming autobiography that he could leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season. The World Cup winner would be one of the most coveted midfielders during the next transfer window if he became available, despite his age. Among those who would be interested in the 30-year-old are Manchester United Chelsea.

Former Chelsea and Manchester United player Lassana Diarra could be about to join West Ham. The 29-year-old has been training with the club since December after becoming a free agent after departing Lokomotic Moscow and Sam Allardyce is confident of a deal being agreed soon. "The deal is very close to being finalised and on the basis of where we are with our squad and the injuries, once we have him fit he will be a very good addition based on his previous record as a footballer."

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino could turn to his home country to find a new defender. According to the Mirror, Argentinian defender Emanuel Mammana of River Plate has caught his eye after some positive scouting reports. The 19-year-old has already collected an international cap but Spurs will face competition from Atletico Madrid.
