Follow the latest updates live from the Spanish Grand Prix as Lewis Hamilton starts from pole position in his Formula One championship battle with Valtteri Bottas and Max Verstappen, who is bidding for his second consecutive victory.
It was Verstappen who dominated at Silverstone last weekend to take Red Bull’s first win of the season, and with Mercedes concerned that the tyre issues that struck them at the two British rounds will reappear in Barcelona, he is best placed to challenge Hamilton as he starts third on the grid behind Bottas.
Verstappen is Hamilton’s nearest challenger in the championship standings with a 30-point margin at the top of the table, and another Red Bull win would really open up the title battle. Behind Verstappen, the returning Sergio Perez leads a Racing Point one-two with Lance Stroll, with Alex Albon sixth and the two Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel disappointing once again in ninth and 11th. The Spanish Grand Prix takes place across 14 - 16 August 2020.

All European races will be held behind closed doors, meaning that the only way fans will be able to see the action is on television.
In the UK, Sky Sports continue to hold the exclusive rights for F1, with Channel 4 only able to show the British Grand Prix live as they are restricted to highlights coverage the rest of the year.

Lap 64: Bottas is closing down Verstappen in the battle for second, but it's too little too late and instead he pits for a run at fastest lap.
Lap 65: Sainz is trying to chase down Perez, and he's 7.2s behind with the McLaren driver only needed to be within five seconds of him in two laps' time.
CHEQUERED FLAG: LEWIS HAMILTON WINS THE SPANISH GRAND PRIX!
Chequered Flag: Lewis Hamilton takes a dominant win, finishing a huge 24.1s in front of Max Verstappen. Bottas does get the fastest lap for the extra point, but finishes 44.7s behind his Mercedes teammate.
The rest of the field? They were all lapped at least once.
Lewis Hamilton: "I was just in a daze out there, in a different ... it felt really good. A fantastic effort from the team, but god it felt good out there which was a surprise because we had the problem with the tyres.
"I didn't even know it was the last lap at the end so that's how zoned in I was, I was ready to keep going.
"It's something I study very hard before the race, which tyres we're going to be using and what strategy we're going to do. I think the strategy we had was just right, but at the end there was no need to risk going on the soft tyres, we had a fresh new set of mediums and we could split the strategy."
Max Verstappen: "I think today to split them was very good for us. We clearly didn't have the pace like Lewis. so we're very happy with second. The start was crucial to get by Valtteri, and from there I managed it with my pace.
"I was expecting it a bit more but I had good pace with my tyres and he never closed the gap.
"We keep trying to improve but to do they, they keep pushing."
Valtteri Bottas: "I think the start was crucial. I had to push harder to get back into it, and that was the bad part really. I don't know what happened, we need to take a look at it, but I had no tow and Lewis had no tow, but it wasn't very good."
