mins: Lovely footwork from Jones down the blindside frees up Stuart Hogg, and although he has a two-on-one with Hamish Watson outside him, he steps past Serin and dives for the line to score his third try in two matches! Laidlaw's conversion is on target, but hasn't got the legs and ricochets back off the crossbar! 3-5.

mins: France respond immediately, and surge into the 22 with Lamarat offloading to Spedding well. Watson blocks Serin at the breakdown to see the penalty advantage awarded, and when Vahaamahina knocks forward we come back for the penalty. Lopez lines it up and it's good. France take back the lead! 6-5.

mins: Both Dunbar and Baille are down and need treatment, but are fit to continue and we'll restart after a Scottish knock-on with a French scrum on their own 10m. Another penalty for the French ensues, and Scotland have big troubles at scrum time.

mins: France break from a maul and Picamoles surges through. He's isolated though and Scotland win a penalty through Brown. There's serious concerns over Laidlaw here, as he's limping with an ankle injury. His match is done, and he's replaced by Ali Price at scrum-half. A big blow for Scotland as they lose their captain and kicker.

mins: Scotland win a penalty when Picamoles crosses in front of Lopez, but Price charges in and triggers a flare-up between the two sides. The result is the penalty is overturned and it's deep in Scottish territory. Lopez to go for goal.

mins: Lopez's effort cannons back off the upright and Russell is first to it to kick clear. Price breathes a big sigh of relief.

mins: Brilliant hands from the French - forwards and backs - releases Fickou down the right following a Scottish knock-on. They again look to Nakataici and Vakatawa in midfield, and Fickou again crops up on the right wing to carry the ball 5m short of the line. Spedding has a dart from the left but the defence is in place to stop him...TRY FOR FRANCE!

mins: Another big response from Scotland and they're immediately up to the French 5m line with a penalty advantage. The forwards take it on and try to barge their way over, but when it comes out tot he backs Fickou senses the interception and defuses the move. We come back for the penalty and this should be three points for the Scots, even without Laidlaw. Russel takes on the kicking duties.
