35Â mins: Russell's first shot at goal is good and reduces the lead to 13-8. On the sidelines, Laidlaw reappears in a protective boot and with crutches. It doesn't look good. John Barclay goes off for an HIA and John Hardie comes on in his place.
38Â mins: Russell and Nakaitaci go up to contest a high Price box-kick, and the TMO decides during play it's a fair contest, despite the Frenchman coming down awkwardly. Replays are a bit less conclusive, as it looks as though Russell tackles him in the air. The Scots win a penalty from the ensuing ruck and Russell dusts himself off to convert it. 13-11.
40 mins: One late chance for France after a loose high ball falls into the hands of Vahaamahina. The ball is knocked forwards though and that brings an end to a frantic half of rugby, with France leading 13-11.
Half-time: What a pulsating half of rugby. It really has been end-to-end, that largely surrounds the failure to secure restarts that is giving either side great territory. Stuart Hogg struck again with his third try in two games, but Scotland's lead didn't last long as Camille Lopez kicked France back in front before Gael Fickou dived over. Russell has reduced the lead, and just two points separate the two sides. We've got a brilliant second half in store at the Stade de France.
Half-time: The two sides are back out and we're ready to get back underway.
41 mins: SCOTLAND KICK-OFF AND THE SECOND HALF HAS BEGUN!
41 mins: The game is immediately stopped when Hardie, on permanently for Barclay now, clatters into Goujon in a head-on-head collision. Both players are in bother, and they are heading off for an HIA. Hardie needs help off the pitch, and he surely can't return from that. Tim Swinson comes on in his place, with the Scots out of back-row options, while Damien Chouly comes on for Goujon, who looks in better shape.
43 mins: Both sides trade penalties, France from the scrum and Scotland in the breakdown, which was pretty much the story of the first half. Scotland go quickly...TRY FOR SCOTLAND!
43 mins: The ball is shipped wide to Seymour on the right wing, and he chips ahead and gives chase. The bounce wrong-foots French full-back Spedding, and Seymour collects to offload to replacement Tim Swinson to cross! Despite going under the posts, Russell MISSES the easy conversion after the ball falls off the tee as he kicks it. Bizarre. 13-16
