Cas sweat on Chase's dash back for Cup tie

Rangi Chase has flown back to face a court appearance in Australia, leaving his Castleford team-mates unsure whether he will be back in time to line up with them in their Challenge Cup semi-final. "We're all in the dark about it," admitted forward Ryan Hudson over Chase's prospects of facing Leeds on Sunday. "He's such a good player, but if he's not there we have got alternatives."

Castleford plan for Chase's absence

Castleford are planning on being without their player of the year for the biggest game of their season on Sunday. Rangi Chase is due in court in Australia on Thursday to answer an assault charge.
