The SoCo Hotel has brought a flavour of Miami Beach to Barbados. With an Art Deco design, the hotel – just south of Bridgetown – has 24 rooms, a waterfront restaurant, spa treatments and a pool (thesocohotel.com).
The Sculpture by the Sea Aarhus biennial returns to eastern Denmark on Saturday. Throughout June, 60 sculptures from around the world will take up residence on the city's beach (sculpturebythesea.dk).
