France road rules
From next weekend, motorists and motor-cyclists travelling in France must comply with a new law that makes carrying a breathalyser compulsory. There's a grace period, operating from 1 July to 1 Nov, after which motorists will face an €11 fine. Earlier this year, drivers in France were prohibited from using satnavs and GPS devices capable of detecting speed cameras. And, from next January, motorcyclists will have to wear reflective clothing between the neck and waist while riding anything bigger than 125cc. Ferry companies such as P&O and DFDS now sell single-use breathalysers on board their ships.Reuse content
