Weekly hotel openings: Turkey, France, the US

This week saw the latest outpost of boutique brand Edition open in Turkey, along with a new Marriott outside Paris and the revamped Ravella at Lake Las Vegas resort.

The latest property by Marriott and Ian Schrager has soft-opened in a 13-storey tower, offering 78 guest rooms and a full-floor penthouse. Guests can enjoy a 1,800 square-meter three-storey spa, Cipriani restaurant, lobby bar, cinema and a nightclub. Bookings are now being accpeted although a full opening is scheduled for March/April.

This "Mediterranean-inspired oasis" offers golf, a spa and a marina, all just minutes from the buzz of the Las Vegas strip. The 314 guest rooms and 35 suites are built into the greenery around Lake Las Vegas, along with two terrace cafes, a lounge and access to the Village resort.
