Weekly new hotel openings - New York, Dominican Republic and Tanzania

This week saw the opening of yet another new property in New York, along with a megaresort from Barcelo in the Dominican Republic and Best Western's first property in Tanzania.
Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
Barcelo's new all-inclusive mega-resort boasts a theatre, nightclub, casino and shopping district, along with restaurants serving cuisine that ranges from Japanese to Mexican. There is also an 18-hole golf course, a spa and a three kilometre stretch of natural beach.
Best Western Coral Beach Hotel
Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania
Best Western's first property in Tanzania offer 62 guest rooms and an oceanside restaurant which boasts incredible sunset views. Guests can also enjoy a bar, free wireless internet and a business centre.
Le Meridien Taipei
Chic and minimalistic, the 160-room Le Meridien Taipei offers a five star stay in the heart of the city's cosmopolitan Xinyi District. The hotel contains a unique coffee and chocolate cafe ChocoArt, two restaurants and two bars, as well as an indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi.
Courtyard New York Manhattan
Marriott's latest creation gleams from the centre of New York's SoHo in the trendy Hudson Square, offering 120 rooms in a 20 story hotel with great views of the city thanks to glass walls that extend almost a foot beyond the surface of the building. The hotel offers a wine bar, free wifi and an interactive board in the lobby with local attractions and information.
Hotel Nikko Suzhou Qingshan
As well as a mahjong room, the new Hotel Nikko in Suzhou offers 91 guest rooms, a gym and health club, a Chinese restaurant, a Western restaurant and a bar.
