Wat's Dyke Way, Powys
This year saw the opening of the waymarked Wat's Dyke Way, which runs parallel to its famous big brother, Offa's Dyke. The trail follows public footpaths and winding country lanes along the Welsh border between Llanymynech in Powys andHolywell in Flintshire. The end of Wat's Dyke Way is marked by the 12th-century Cistercian Abbey, Basingwerk Abbey.
