Moment ‘Belgian Boy George’ performs at Eurovision semi-final

The Eurovision audience was surprised and confused when they spotted a singer looking like Boy George performing for Belgium during the semi-final.

On Thursday 10 May, Belgian singer Gustaph, 42, performed "Because of You" wearing a large white hat and a suit, sparking the immediate comparison to the Karma Chameleon singer’s style.

“Lovely to see Boy George in a non-jungle setting!” and “Belgium looks like a cross between Boy George and Sheriff Buford T Justice” were among the comments shared on Twitter.

His performance guaranteed Belgium the qualification to the Eurovision finals taking place on Saturday 12 May.
