Stunt performers ride motorcycles through LA in solidarity with striking actors and writers

Stunt performers joined striking actors and writers on the picket line at Fox Studios in Los Angeles last Thursday, 27 July.

Footage shared by Gary Daniel Mosher, a Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG AFTRA) union member, shows dozens of motorcycle riders roaring past the studios.

On 14 July, around 160,000 actors represented by the union went on strike alongside more than 11,000 writers.

The union says it called a strike for better pay to keep up with inflation, and protection over performers’ images and performances to prevent replacement of human performances by artificial intelligence technology.
