Spice Girls release unseen audition video marking 30th anniversary

Thirty years ago, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Victoria Adams, Melanie Chisholm, and Melanie Brown were five unknown young women dreaming of pop stardom.

Never in their wildest dreams did they imagine they would become the ultimate girl band of the Nineties, smashing music chart records and becoming famous across the globe.

Marking the 30th anniversary of the very first Spice Girls auditions, the band has released unseen footage of them performing together before taking the music world by storm.

Releasing the video on Instagram on Monday (4 March), the band thanked fans for their support on what they described as an “amazing journey”.
