Strictly Come Dancing cast ‘send their love’ to Amanda Abbington as she misses show for medical reasons

Strictly Come Dancing presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman sent ‘their love’ to Amanda Abbington as the actress missed the show for medical reasons.

Amanda Abbington and Giovanni Pernice were expected to perform a Cha Cha to Canned Heat on Saturday 21 October in front of the Strictly judges, but a spokesperson confirmed on Friday that the Sherlock star was not gonna be in the latest episode of the show.

The news came after Ms Abbington posted a tribute on her Instagram Story to fellow actor Haydn Gwynne, who died on Friday after a recent cancer diagnosis.
