Ed Sheeran surprises five-year-old boy with special birthday present

A young Ed Sheeran superfan got the surprise of his life when the superstar singer sent him a special present for his birthday.

The global singer delighted five-year-old Ren Lamoreaux from Utah with a guitar, microphone, signed CD, t-shirt and a toy. These were accompanied by a touching handwritten note from Ed, which reads: “Ren, sorry not to make your birthday party, hope it was great. Here’s a notepad, mic, and guitar so you can start writing songs like me.”

The TikTok clip, posted by Ren’s mum Alexandra, ends with an adorable clip of Ren singing along to the hit song ‘I Don’t Care’ by Ed and Justin Bieber.
