Ofgem: Martin Lewis warns of 20 per cent increase in energy bills

Martin Lewis has warned that energy bills could go up by 20 per cent if the government increase its energy price guarantee.

The money-saving guru shared his words of warning on Good Morning Britain, calling for the government to delay the rise.

Lewis said that rising the guarantee would be an act of “national mental health harm” and appealed for the chancellor to reconsider.
