Martin Lewis predicts how far energy bills will drop as Ofgem cuts price cap

Martin Lewis confirmed the news that energy bills will drop by 17 per cent, as Ofgem has cut its energy price cap.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain on Thursday 25 May, the MoneySavingExpert also explained that households will see their bills go down on 1 July but some people may not see the drop reflected straight away.

“This remember, starts on the first of July, you won’t all feel it on the first of July because if you pay by direct debit it just depends when they reassess,” Lewis explained.
