Tories are freezing households, not energy bills, says SNP Commons leader

The Tories are "freezing households, not energy bills," SNP Westminster leader Stephen Flynn has said.

At Prime Minister's Questions on Wednesday, 15 March - ahead of the Budget - the MSP for Aberdeen South referred to analysis by The Herald stating that typical Scottish households willpay almost £3500 a year in energy costs.

It comes as chancellor Jeremy Hunt announced that the energy price guarantee will be extended for a further three months from April to June at its current level.
