What's a singer-songwriter to do when his perceived golden days are over? For the former leader of Slowdive and Mojave 3 it's to keep on keeping on while producing an ever-more dignified and impressive catalogue of solo albums.

There's nothing here to change the world. But Halstead's songs and Euros Childs-like voice breathe the sort of honesty and goodness that's harder and harder to find in the iTunes age. Hell, there may even be spiritual nourishment here.
