​Teenager Kylian Mbappe scored twice to give AS Monaco a 3-2 win at Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday in a Champions League quarter-final first-leg match that was postponed following an attack on the home team's bus.

Mbappe gave Monaco a 19th-minute lead shortly after Fabinho had missed a penalty for the visitors, and they went further ahead when Dortmund defender Sven Bender headed into his own net.

Ousmane Dembele pulled one back for Dortmund in the 57th minute but another defensive mistake allowed Mbappe to break away and grab a third goal for the Ligue 1 side. Shinji Kagawa gave the German side hope with a neat finish six minutes from time.

Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel has just given a very interesting interview to German broadcaster DW Sports. The gist is that he's unhappy his team have been made to play tonight's match less than 24 hours after the events of last night.

There are players who can very easily deal with what has happened and then there are others who worry more. So there are very mixed feelings.

We wished we had more time to deal with what happened but someone in Switzerland decided that we had to play. That is not very fair.

We have been left feeling a bit helpless by the decision. But professionals find solutions to problems. And we are strong enough.

One Dortmund fan, Sebastian Sollgan, has just had this to say to the Press Association:

None of us are scared.

We have our normal routines, we are just doing them earlier than usual. The stadium is probably the safest place in Dortmund right now.

I think there will be a thicker bond between the two sets of fans.

What Monaco fans did yesterday, chanting 'Dortmund, Dortmund' earned our respect. There is now a stadium friendship.

An interesting stylistic match-up

Much has been made of how these two sides are very similar — young, pacy, attacking — but they'll be lining up in vastly different formations this evening which should make for an entertaining stylistic mash-up.

Monaco are sticking to their tried and tested 4-4-2, while Dortmund are likely to retain the three-man defence they fielded against Bayern.

3 mins: A nice spell of Dortmund possession is brought to an end when Kagawa delicately flicks the ball directly into the path of Raggi. He swings his foot through it and clears.

Bender then looks to swing a long pass into the box with Aubameyang running in from the wing, but Monaco clear.
