An emotional Jordan Henderson has been speaking to BT Sport following his side's defeat against Real Madrid

On the 3-1 defeat: "It's disappointing of course. I thought we did well to get the goal and get back into the game. Madrid were really good and deserved to win.

"I felt in the first 30-35 minutes we dominated with the ball had a couple of chances. It's frustrating but you've got to give credit to Madrid."

On Mohamed Salah's 30th minute injury: "When Mo (Salah) got injured they started dominating more with the ball and we did well to get in at half time. We stayed in the game we got the goal back but a couple of goals which on another night they wouldn't have gone in.

On Loris Karius' mistakes: "First one I'm not sure what's happened. The overhead kick you can do nothing. For the third one there's lots of movement, but it's not about one person. We win and lose as a team.

On the Champions League run: "The fans came out in numbers against and I hope we can go again and get into more finals. It's going to hurt for a while but football moves on. You've got to be proud to get here, we've don brilliantly throughout this season."

Luka Modric says on BT Sport Real Madrid's three Champions League wins in a row will be remembered as a dynasty.

"It's something historic I don't know if anyone will repeat this in the future, they can call us a dynasty in football. It's difficult to find the words to explain this. There's so much work we put in day in, day out."

He says they're even planning on winning a fourth in a row. "Of course we are playing in Madrid, we have to enjoy first and then we prepare for next season."
