Everton vs Arsenal - as it happened: Ashley Williams' late header hands Toffees hard-fought victory
Re-live all the action from the Premier League clash at Goodison Park
Arsenal can return to the summit of the Premier League table with victory at Everton on Wednesday night.
Arsène Wenger’s side have not lost away from home since a 3-1 defeat at the Nou Camp in March.
The Toffees, on the other hand, could hardly be playing worse. Ronald Koeman’s men have won just one of their last 10 league games, though they remain unbeaten at home since April.

90+1 min: Barkley battles his way past a passive Lucas Perez to break into the Arsenal box from the right. Without caring to look to his left, he fires a low-driven shot towards the near post. Cech sticks out a hand to deny the Englishman and force the corner. Had Barkley in fact looked he would have seen Mirallas in acres of space to his left...
90+4 min: Incredible scenes! What an amazing passage of play! Cech came up for a late corner and after what must have been five shots on goals, followed by five amazing shots, the ball was booted back up the pitch! Without Cech in goal, Lukaku had the chance to shoot on an open goal but instead ended up dwelling on the ball. The opportunity passed and Bellerin eventually slid in to clear the danger.
FULL TIME: Everton 2-1 Arsenal
The game ended with real heart-in-mouth stuff as Everton clung on to deny Arsenal a late equaliser. After a lethargic start to the match, the Toffees fought back to show real desire and passion as they set about grinding down their opponents. The game hung in the balance approaching the final 15 minutes, with both sides enjoying their fair share of chances, but it was Ashley Williams who cast the deciding vote with his late header at the back post. Fantastic stuff.
