West Brom vs Arsenal as it happened: Craig Dawson scores twice to pile the pressure on Arsene Wenger
Relive the action as West Brom seal a memorable win over struggling Arsenal
Two headers by Craig Dawson and a Hal Robson-Kanu strike lifted West Bromwich Albion to a 3-1 win over Arsenal and piled more misery on their manager Arsene Wenger after a pulsating Premier League clash on Saturday.
The result left Arsenal in fifth place with 50 points from 27 matches, five behind fourth-placed Liverpool who are at home to Manchester City on Sunday. West Brom stayed eighth on 43 points from 29 games.
Still reeling from a 10-2 aggregate defeat by Bayern Munich in the Champions League last 16 earlier this month, the under-fire Wenger could only watch in dismay as a banner saying 'NO CONTRACT #WENGEROUT' was flown by a plane above the Hawthorns.

8 mins: It's back to the other end now where James McClean has got his head - normally used solely for critical thinking - on the end of a drifting Nacer Chadli cross. It's an easy effort for Petr Cech to deal with.
12 mins: This is less easy for Cech! The Arsenal goalkeeper is forced to turn a stinging McClean drive around the post for the first corner of the match after the Irishman had been sent clear on the left by a smart Darren Fletcher pass.
12 mins: GOAL! WEST BROM 1 ARSENAL 0:
From the corner, Albion grab the lead! Nacer Chadli swung the delivery in with his right foot, and there was Craig Dawson at the near post, ahead of Petr Cech and Laurent Koscielny, to head down and into an inviting net. It's what West Brom do best, it's the 13th time this season that they have netted from such a situation.
15 mins: GOAL! WEST BROM 1 ARSENAL 1:
An instant response from Arsenal! Nacer Chadli must still have been admiring his set-piece delivery for Albion's opener because he inexplicably switched off to allow Alexis Sanchez to ghost into the West Brom penalty area. The Chilean was easily picked out by Granit Xhaka's lofted pass, and the forward then had time and space to dance around Craig Dawson before thumping home off the underside of the crossbar. Terrible defending, great entertainment.
19 mins: Arsenal have taken control after that early blow, and are searching for a quickfire second. Only some brave defending from Nyom at the back-stick stops Danny Welbeck from powering a header goalwards.
23 mins: Arsenal goalscorer Alexis Sanchez is complaining incessantly to referee Neil Swarbrick after the official failed to award him a free-kick following a coming together with Jake Livermore. I suppose it makes a change from having a giggle with Petr Cech.
27 mins: Uh oh indeed. "Far from convincing" is the commentator's take on Arsenal's defending as Chris Brunt swings a delivery over left-footed, but somehow the visitors scramble the ball away to safety.
31 mins: It's not just dead ball situations that Arsenal defenders are far from convincing in dealing with. A slick Albion counter-attack from the left sees Rondon one-on-one with Shkodran Mustafi. The angle is against the striker, but he turns the defender one way before making space the other side and dragging a shot wide of the far post.
34 mins: Two cracking saves, one at either end. First, Ben Foster gets down low to his left to push out Aaron Ramsey's strike, subsequently relying on his defence to crowd out Theo Walcott from following up on the rebound. Then it was Petr Cech's turn to star, the goalkeeper acrobatically flicking Darren Fletcher's drive past the post to keep Arsenal on level terms.
