With a master bedroom, a tablet-controlled widescreen TV and domed ceilings, it’s clear why the Dreamliner Boeing 787 airliner has earned its label of a ‘VVIP' aircraft.

Believed to be the world’s largest private jet, the remodelled B787 Dreamliner costs around £20,000 per hour to hire. An 11-hour flight from London to Los Angeles would set back a client at least £242,000.

The 2,400 square feet of space inside the plane - which would accommodate up to 335 passengers on a regular commercial flight - is decked out to cater to just 30 people, Mail Online reported.

When passengers need some shut-eye after using the wood-floored lounge, they can retire to one of the craft’s 18 flat beds. The master bedroom, meanwhile, has an adjoining bathroom decorated with marble and oak wood and stocked with Jo Malone toiletries.

In an attempt to combat jet-lag, the designers have kept the aircraft's cabin altitude at 6,000ft - as the side effects of flying are said to kick in at 6,500ft.

The crew and in-flight 'butlers', meanwhile, have a area on the plane worth £230million, according to The Sun.

In a nod to the high net worth individuals who Kestrel Aviation Management - the firm behind the plane - hope will rent it, the promotional video shows the aircraft kitted out with high fashion and yachting magazines, as well as Chanel products.

As the B787 can fly for up to 17.5 hours non-stop, suggested flights on its current itinerary include New York, Hong Kong and LA. A seven-night charter deal which comes with a stay at the Presidential Suite of St Regis Bora Bora Resort is also available. Deer Jet, the Beijing Capital Airlines firm behind the aircraft, plans to unveil more itineraries in June.

The aircraft is currently on show at Stansted Airport.
