Paul O’Grady makes posthumous cameo in Eurovision opening credits

The late Paul O’Grady appeared in the opening credits of Tuesday night’s Eurovision semi-final.

In the emotional short film, the much-loved TV presenter is seen preparing his home for the song contest’s arrival, brushing his floor while holding one of his beloved dogs.

The cameo was one of the last things O’Grady filmed before his death on 28 March.

Other famous faces to appear in Eurovision’s opening credits include TV baker Paul Hollywood and actor Ricky Tomlinson.
