Manchester United’s squad revamp continues at haste, and the news that they are the only club in for England defender Harry Maguire may help them to sign the Leicester City defender in the coming days.

Arsenal meanwhile continue to struggle in their efforts to sign Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace, and as a result may switch their attentions back to Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser. Everton meanwhile are attempting to pull off what could be one of the stories of the summer after their owner Farhad Moshiri gave the green light to make a statement signing in the shape of Diego Costa.

Juventus currently lead the race to sign Paul Pogba, whose close friends have revealed that they expect him to leave United this summer following his agent’s sudden outburst that they are doing everything they can to get him out of Old Trafford, while Tottenham could be poised for exits that includes Danny Rose. Follow the live news below.

Elsewhere, Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer may be about to come onto the market after his agent revealed he is considering a Bayern Munich exit if they are not competitive enough this season.

One surprise player who may be available this summer if Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who could be ready to leave Bayern Munich after eight years at the Allianz Arena.

Neuer's agent Thomas Kroth has told German newspaper Suddeutsche Zeitung that the 33-year-old will consider his options if he believes the squad is not good enough to challenge for the Champions League this season.

"Manuel is success-oriented. My impression is that the gap to the top four English top teams is already serious and the Munich squad is currently not yet as competitive or set up to tackle Manuel's goals seriously," Kroth said.

"When he realises that Bayern are responding, then he will probably blossom again. He does not want to retire in 2021. Now he is in the phase in which he has to decide: how will things progress in the future?

"Signing a contract extension and ending his career at Bayern is of course the obvious option, but it's not the only one.

"Much has been said and interpreted against him. The bottom line was: 'He's 33 years old now and he's starting to break down'.

"Many have interpreted his achievements as having lost the extraordinary and invincible ability."

Crystal Palace are ready to announce the signing of Swansea forward Jordan Ayew, with the 27-year-old set to return to the Premier League.

The Guardian reports that Ayew will complete a £2.7m move to Selhurst Park once Ghana's Africa Cup of Nations campaign has wound up, with the Championship side eager to get Ayew's wages off their books ahead of the new season.

Manchester United have named Romelu Lukaku in their pre-season tour squad, but the Belgian could still be on his way out of the club.

The Sun reports that Lukaku has been offered to both Juventus and Napoli in the hope that they can offload the striker and reinvest the money in younger players, with United looking to make a small profit on the £75m they paid for the 26-year-old two years ago.

Lukaku is known to be open to a move, but talks between United and Inter Milan - as confirmed by his agent - have not materialised into anything concrete, and the Premier League club will continue to use him through pre-season until there is any progress on the deal.

Arsenal are being linked with just about every player on the planet this month - even the ones not in their price range - but a departure may be on the cards in the form of defender Shkodran Mustafi.

The centre-back has removed all mention of Arsenal from his Instagram account, prompting speculation that a move away from the club is imminent - particularly as "Arsenal player" has been taken out of his bio.

Here's the full story plus the rest of today's Arsenal transfer news:

A new target has emerged on the Tottenham radar in the form of Real Madrid's Dani Ceballos, who according to reports in Spain is already in 'advanced talks' to move to Spurs this summer.

The 22-year-old was one of Spain's most eye-catching players at the recent European Under-21s Championship, and with Mauricio Pochettino determined to add one more midfielder to his squad following the £55m addition of Tanguy Ndombele, it's believed that Spurs have switched priority from Giovani Lo Celso to Ceballos.

A bit more on United's interest in Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

Reports in Italy claim that it will take £67m to prise the Serbian away from Lazio this summer.

However, United could easily fund that move by selling Paul Pogba to either frontrunners Juventus or Real Madrid, a deal that would fetch as much as double that fee.

But Pogba has arrived at Manchester Airport to join the rest of the squad for the flight to Australia on their pre-season tour, dismissing reports that he was about to go on strike to force move.

Liverpool may be the club that offers Mauro Icardi a way out of his Inter Milan nightmare.

Icardi has fallen out with the club hierarchy and wants to leave the Serie A side, having been stripped of the captaincy due to a ferocious outburst from his wife Wanda Icardi over how the club is managed.

Reports are linking Icardi with a future move to Anfield, though it is hard to see how Jurgen Klopp would want such a disruptive influence in the dressing room.

All that and more:

The odds on Ousmane Dembele making a surprise switch to Anfield plummeted overnight.

Philippe Coutinho's agent revealed the Brazilian will stay at Barcelona next season, however, despite being highly rated by those at the club, Dembele's consistent disciplinary issues have become a concern.

Any deal for the 22-year-old Frenchman would in excess of £100m and may make way for Neymar returning to the Spanish champions.

Arsenal are still hoping to sign Wilfried Zaha this summer, despite being offered Barcelona winger Malcom.

The Brazilian was hotly pursued by Arsenal, Tottenham and Roma before eventually leaving Bordeaux for Barcelona last year.

However, he has struggled for game time at the Camp Nou, making 24 appearances in all competitions last season, with the 22-year-old thought to be available for a fee in the region of £35-40m.

Arsenal are considering a shock move for Tottenham centre-back Toby Alderweireld, according to The Daily Star.

The Belgian has a £25m release clause in his contract and is reportedly open to making the switch across North London to avoid uprooting his family.

The defender made 50 appearances in all competitions last season and was pivotal in Spurs' Champions League run.
