Kylian Mbappé: If you had told Monaco they would be heading home with three away goals three weeks ago, they'd have been happy. Yet somehow, they still enter this second-leg two goals down.
Having scored one of the Ligue 1 side's three and being hailed as the new Thierry Henry, Kylian Mbappé will have to produce if his team are to have a chance.

18: Mbappé fired his strike into the roof of the net as if he’d been doing for years, was it not only his first Champions League start but also being the envious age of 18, in contrast to his finish .
Remember when…
The reverse tie in Manchester had absolutely everything. While you admire all the goals and the criminal defending, make sure to check out Pep Guardiola’s reaction to Sergio Aguero’s yellow card after the Argentinian was judged to have dived. Danijel Subasic, the Monaco goalkeeper, actually appeared to trip the attacker.

Sergio Aguero: Whether he starts or appears from the bench, due to Guardiola’s tendency to surprise, the Argentine will be a key part in ensuring the Citizens reach the quarter finals for the second time in their history.

3 mins: There's going to be goals in this. City's defence is already pushed high and Monaco look happy to play on the counter in these opening exchanges, with Mbappe and Germain both staying relatively narrow, ready to pounce.
Monaco have launched a couple of early long balls downfield to test Stones and Kolarov, but the two central defends have comfortably dealt with them.
5 mins: Good, powerful run from Mendy, who skips past Sagna and hangs a dangerous ball across the penalty area. Stones heads clear.
Moments later Sidibe swings in a cross from the other wing; this time Kolarov heads it clear from danger.
Bright start from the home team.
GOAL! Monaco 1 Manchester City 0 (4-5) Kylian Mbappé (7)
Monaco's wonderkid pulls an early goal back for the home team!
9 mins: What a disastrous start for City. Only moments before the goal Caballero had made a fantastic save, darting off his line to turn away a low sidefoot effort from Mbappe, who had latched onto a loose ball in the middle of the pitch and sprinted clear of City's defence.
But the City 'keeper had little chance with the goal. City only half-cleared a corner, with the ball falling to Mendy. He turned Sagna with a fantastic bit of skill on the edge of the box before shooting low. Stones deflected the ball clear, but only as far as Silva, who perceptively rifled the ball low across the face of goal.
Mbappe skipped free of his man to meet the ball at the near post, poking past Caballero. Monaco only need one more to lead the tie!
11 mins: Monaco's full-backs ... wow. When they're in full flow, are there a better pair in Europe? They're absolutely devastating on the counter-attack and Mendy in particular has been superb so far.
The home side are still experiencing a lot of joy down the left but Jemerson then goes into a 50/50 with his boot raised high and the ref awards a free-kick to City. A good chance for them to pass the ball around and attempt to take the sting out of Monaco's superb start.
14 mins: Mbappe and Germain are pressing City's defence relentlessly. The former squeezes a mistake out of Clichy and Bakayoko collects the loose ball, but his lofted pass forward is headed clear before Mbappe can pounce.
17 mins: GOALLLL-no! Mbappe has the ball in the back of the net, again, but he's ruled offside. That was exceptionally tight. Fabinho picked him out with a defence bisecting pass and the teenager finished confidently with a low shot into the far corner of the goal, but the offside flag saves City.
Moments later an ambitious strike from Germain whistles over the crossbar. And not by much.
19 mins: City have made a truly woeful start. Now even Kevin de Bruyne is making silly mistakes, the Belgian picking up the ball and them promptly losing it by passing it direct to the feet of Mendy.
The away side get it back through when Jemerson makes a similarly poor pass. He tries to pick out Mbappe (who else?) but gets too much on his through ball which Caballero collects.
