Scotland and England go head to head in their 2018 World Cup qualifier at Hampden Park on Saturday night.

Gareth Southgate's men remain unbeaten after five games in Group F and are yet to concede a single goal, while Gordon Strachan's side sit six points behind them with fives games to go.

When is it?

Kick-off will take place at 5pm on Saturday 10 June.

Where can I watch it?

The fixture will be shown live on ITV and Sky Sports 1.

Player to watch...

Marcus Rashford. The Manchester United forward enjoyed a revival towards the end of the season and was subsequently handed a call-up to the senior England squad, with manager Gareth Southgate throwing his support behind the youngster. If he can threaten with the sort of speed and predatory movement he displayed in United's home victory against Chelsea in April, Scotland will be in for a long night.

It's a big game for...

Gordon Strachan. His side currently sit two points off-second placed Slovakia in a tight race for a likely runners-up spot in Group F. With two defeats to their name already, a third would further narrow their chances of qualifying from the group, bringing to an end their World Cup hopes. The Scots have the home advantage and will need to put it to good effect if they're to get any result at Hampden on Saturday night.

Chance! And it falls to that man Lallana.

He turns on a sixpence on the edge of the area before flashing a shot just wide that Gordon fingertips past his right-hand post.

The subsequent corner comes to nothing. England getting closer though.

It's not been great stuff so far in truth.

The highlight for many is Joe Hart's cap. Hard to argue.

Half-time!

And that's that.

Scotland started well but as England got more of the ball they improved and definitely spurned the best of the chances.

Skipper for the day Kane probably the guiltiest after fluffing his lines when he should have hit the target early on.

Plenty to build on with Strachan probably the happier of the two coaches at the break.

The West Brom man, a surprise starter this evening, has had a quietly effective game so far.

There's a change for Scotland as we prepare to begin the second-half.

We're swapping James', McArthur for Morrison. Crystal Palace for West Brom, if you will.

About to get started again. Excited? Stick with it. It'll get better. (I hope)

48mins:

Rod's in attendance - and he looks like he's enjoying it as much as the rest of us.

England started as they left off, with the ball, but no penetration as yet.

How long before Southgate's changes it?

51mins:

A chance for Livermore. The ball breaks for the West Brom who slams it towards goal, it's deflected off Kane and cannons back off the post with Gordon completely wrong-footed.

A goalmouth scramble ensues but no one can get a meaningful touch and Scotland eventually clear.

It's the closest we've come. England looking the more likely it must be said. Strachan's half-time change hasn't altered the tide just yet.

55mins:

Finally a game has broken out. Alli gets free and looks forward for England before Scotland tear up the other end and get towards the box.

Griffiths goes down in a heap after pressure from Walker and he - and some 50,000 fans - wants a penalty but nothing doing.

It looked a little dicey from the Tottenham but the ref was having none of it.

60mins:

Scotland have definitely improved and are looking far more of a threat.

They are actually shooting, which is a distinct improvement on their first half showing.

Armstrong is the latest to have a dig but it's high and wide. It's better though, no doubt about it. Strachan will be pleased.

64mins:

Dier is in the book and then runs the disciplinary tightrope again with another foul moments later.

Gary Neville on commentary feels Southgate should change it in the middle of the park and you have to agree.

England don't need two spoilers in the middle, they need a spark. Oxlade-Chamberlain?

Yes. He's on for Rashford. Perhaps a surprise.
