The Royal Ballet's latest triple bill celebrates the choreographer Kenneth MacMillan, in a programme of jarring contrasts: perky, gang rape, perky. The Street, the award-winning BBC drama from Jimmy McGovern, has scored a bit of a coup. Tomorrow night's episode stars long-time Hollywood exile Anna Friel, back on British TV as a struggling single mum. McGovern has revealed that his highly acclaimed series won't be returning to our screens for a fourth season because of cost-cutting at ITV studios in Manchester, which produced the series – so catch it while you can.
