A five minute and fifteen second preview of Exit Through the Gift Shop, the first film by renowned urban and graffiti artist Banksy, appeared on video hosting website YouTube on April 5.
The documentary which made its world debut at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and gained the title of "the world's first street art disaster movie," features exclusive footage of the artist at work in the urban environment alongside some of the world's most infamous graffiti artists.
Exit Through the Gift Shop "tells the incredible true story of how an eccentric French shopkeeper turned documentary maker attempted to locate and befriend Banksy, only to have the artist turn the camera back on its owner with spectacular results," explains the preview blurb on YouTube.
Exit Through the Gift Shop opens in the US on April 16.
The preview can be seen on the official website, http://www.banksyfilm.com, or on YouTube, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a0b90YppquE
