The Federation of British Artists (FBA) is celebrating its 50th anniversary this month with an exhibition of British gems which opens tomorrow.
Pure Gold, hosted by the Mall Galleries in London, will feature works by Edgar Degas, Walter Sickert, John Singer Sargent and Augustus John among others.
Although founded in 1961, the individual societies which make up the FBA date back to 1823, which is why the exhibition covers British artists from then to the present day.
The exhibition will run until the 19th of February.
