“I didn't think for one second that I would get the role.”
Middlesbrough-born Marsay is not blessed with confidence. You'd never guess it from her performance in the BBC's new historical blockbuster The White Queen, in which she plays Anne Neville, one of three women battling for the throne. She only graduated from the Old Vic Theatre School last year and is now keen for her first modern day TV role. But before that, she'll join the cast of ITV's wartime drama, The Bletchley Circle.
