The Guildford actress, in front of industry experts, beat off competition from students from 20 top UK drama schools. Although inspired by American film star Whoopi Goldberg, she says: “Theatre is my first love. I'd like to stay in the UK.” Her dream? To join the Royal Shakespeare Company.
