What three features do you most value in your present home, and what features would you like to see most in homes of the future?

As part of an initial study into its pounds 50m Millennium bid to research, and build, 2,000 new homes for the next century, the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) would like to hear the views of Independent readers. Your ideas may help to spell the end of developers' Neo-Georgian and housing association "vernacular" and the beginning of a new wave of likeable, practical and beautiful new homes at low prices.

The RIBA's Millennium bid - "2000 Homes" - is supported by the Guinness Trust, Peabody Trust and Home, three major British housing associations, by the National House-Builders Council and architects Hunt Thompson Associates.

Write, with your ideas, to Bernard Hunt, RIBA Housing Group, 66 Portland Place, London W1N 4AD.
