Make sure you don't throw away your shot; Hamilton is going on tour to the UK, Europe, and Australia.

The New York Times revealed producer Jeffrey Seller is working with Sir Cameron Mackintosh on a production of the show set to open in London in 2017, which Seller then says will be followed by further versions staged in both continental Europe and Australia.

Lin-Manuel Miranda's Broadway hit is one of the most thrilling, inventive productions of recent years; a musical, with blended hip-hop elements, telling the history of American founding father Alexander Hamilton. Chief staff aide to General George Washington, Hamilton proved one of the strongest influences on the writing of the U.S. Constitution, founding both the country's financial party and the world's first voter-based political party. He was killed in 1804, mortally wounded at the age of 49 after partaking in a duel with Aaron Burr.

The show's enjoyed incredible success during its Broadway run; with President Barack Obama admitting he was so wowed by the production he saw it twice and the team further winning a Grammy for best musical-theatre album. Miranda himself has become vastly sought after, winning the MacArthur "genius grant" last year, and penning music for both Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Disney's Moana.

Mackintosh had previously told The Evening Standard of plans to bring the musical to the West End; but it appears as if the new development only further confirms Hamilton's expanse beyond US shores. The show is already set to tour the States, with a run opening in Chicago in September; Seller said there could be as many as six more national and international companies on the horizon.

Considering tickets for the Broadway production are now sold out until January 2017, prepare for tickets to any international productions to sell out at lightning speed.
