David Bowie officially becomes a pensioner today as he turns 65, and one of Britain's leading mosaic artists has created a piece to mark the musician and actor's milestone.

The Ziggy Stardust star has been immortalised by Ed Chapman. The mosaic, entitled Pin Up, which is valued at £4,000, took the 40-year-old artist several weeks to create at his Castlefield studio in Manchester.
