The cabaret singer Tricity Vogue dressed as the "blue lady", a character inspired by the painting Chinese Girl by artist Vladimir Tretchikoff, poses next to the work at Bonhams auction house in London yesterday, ahead of the painting's sale.

The 1951 portrait is expected to fetch up to £500,000.
