Jonathan Ball, architect behind the Eden Project, a pounds 105m project to build a chain of massive greenhouses in a disused clay pit in Cornwall, each containing a biosphere. The scheme is on the shortlist to become one of 12 Landmark projects, but Ball's design team needs the go-ahead in the next two months.
