German-Iranian tattoo artist Mo Ganji designs tattoos based around one single, continuous line.
He believes designs which simply “add and add” details are more easily done than scaling back to linear basics. After leaving his former job as a fashion industry manager, he now designs and inks intricate body art, implementing a single, simple black line.
Speaking to Tattrx, an international tattoo artist directory, Mr Ganji said “My [former] career was based on values I don’t believe in. A lot of people are in a similar situation, but nowadays they’d rather live a “safe” life with a “safe” income and they are willing to sell their beliefs and their freedom for it.”
Born in Iran but living in Berlin, he creates tattoos based around individual style and as such, has a wide portfolio. For example, he designed fox, elephant and other animal tattoos alongside intricate forest scenery and a world map.
