Live video footage and instant snapshots of visitors attending the seventh edition of the Frieze Art Fair in London are just some of the mise-en-scene artworks planned for the contemporary art event.

Frieze Art Fair will take place in Regent's Park, London from October 15 to 18. The event groups together outstanding artworks from more than 150 contemporary art galleries from across the globe.

Visitors are invited to explore the latest trends in contemporary art and take part in on-site installations.

Attending visitors will have the opportunity to have their portrait taken with their favourite fair artwork. One copy will be kept by the subject while another copy of the photo will become part of British artist Ryan Gander's large-scale installation situated in the entrance of the fair.

The 21,000 square metre temporary structure housing the Art Fair and the surrounding grounds of the "Sculpture Park" will become the backdrop for an in-situ video artwork created by UK-based collaborators Kim Coleman and Jenny Hogarth. The work will feature "unwitting visitors, galleriests and artfair workers".

As part of the event, a specially commissioned, large-scale artwork made by Eva Rothschild will be showcased in the Sculpture Park alongside works made by acclaimed international artists such as Louise Bourgeois, Paul McCarthy and Graham Hudson.

"The Sculpture Park is a fantastic opportunity for the Frieze Art Fair audience and the wider public to see some of the world's most interesting artists and the setting is perfect," commented David Thorp, selector of the Sculpture Park at Frieze Art Fair. "This year sees a particularly diverse, international and exciting mélange of artists and works being presented on this inclusive and public stage at the UK's biggest art event."
