The much-loved author and assisted dying campaigner has died aged 66
After campaigning tirelessly for a greater understanding of Alzheimer’s, Terry Pratchett has died of the disease he has lived with for eight years.
The author publicly suffered with posterior cortical atrophy, a variation of Alzheimer’s, which he was diagnosed with in 2007.
Pratchett’s output was prolific, writing over 70 books, including 40 as part of the fantasy Discworld series. His novels sold over 85 million copies in his lifetime. Here we look back at his career:
