Hilary Mantel fans are convinced the author is set to release a new book, after a mysterious billboard appeared in London.

The billboard shows an image of the Tudor rose, alongside the words “so now get up”.

It hints that Mantel is finally ready to release the third instalment of her Thomas Cromwell trilogy, which was previously announced to have the title The Mirror and the Light.

It’s not yet been confirmed, however, that the billboard is indeed connected to the book.

Wolf Hall and Bring Up The Bodies, the first two books in the trilogy, both won the Man Book Prize.

The first novel featured a Tudor Rose on the front of most copies, while both books had covers featuring a similar font to that used on the billboard.

The Mirror and the Light is expected to span the last four years of Cromwell’s life, from the execution of Anne Boleyn to his own death in 1536.
