Dennis Lehane's Shutter Island is Amazon's best-selling Kindle e-book for the fifth consecutive week, according to a list released March 16 by Publishers Marketplace. The Help by Kathryn Stockett and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson are in second and third place for the week ending March 13.

The psychological thriller Shutter Island was first published in 2003 and is now seeing a resurgence in popularity following the release of the novel's film adaptation by Martin Scorsese. The Help and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo are also not new titles: Stockett published her debut novel in February 2009, and Larsson's title, the first in his internationally bestselling Millennium Trilogy, has been out since 2008.

Larsson's second Millennium book, The Girl Who Played With Fire, is also a longstanding bestseller in both electronic and print editions. The third title in the trilogy, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest, was only recently published in the UK and has yet to be released in print edition in the US. That Kindle title is likely to jump in popularity following the US release of the print edition in late May.

New to the list is Split Image by American author Robert B. Parker, who died on January 18 and was especially famous for his Spenser detective series. Split Image, which was published on February 23, was Parker's ninth in his series about Massachusetts police chief Jesse Stone.
