BOX-OFFICE CHARTS

In London, Mike Leigh's lauded Secrets and Lies holds on to its number one position despite the arrival of the Coens' Fargo, also honoured at Cannes this year, which made marginally less money in its first week on the same number of screens. In the US, three new entries: Dragonheart, a swashbuckler with Dennis Quaid battling Naked's David Thewlis; Eddie, a sports comedy with Whoopi Goldberg as an NBA coach; and the cheapo sci- fi thriller The Arrival, starring Charlie Sheen.
