Among the most perceptive Wagnerians of our day, Sir Mark Elder conducts the Hallé in one of the most daunting yet rewarding operas, Götterdämmerung ('Twilight of the Gods'), the fourth and final part of Wagner's ambitious Ring cycle. Spread over two consecutive nights, it promisess to be the largest single concert project the Hallé has presented under its bold Music Director.

The Halle will perform Wagner's Gotterdammerung in concert May 9th & 10th 2009.
